Billiet-Vanlaere NV is an importer and stock-holding wholesaler of household, catering, gift and seasonal items. The West Flemish growth company is mainly active in the Benelux, France and Germany. The showroom in Tielt recently underwent a major metamorphosis with unique design and innovative, well-thought-out concepts in the field of shopping experience. Oscart was exclusively selected by Billiet as a partner for all digital screen communication on the shop floor.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The showroom of\u00a0Billiet<\/a>\u00a0is no less than 4,275 m\u00b2 in size over several floors. At the end of 2021, it underwent a complete renovation with revolutionary concepts where sophisticated 'category management' was also implemented on the shop floor. Different types of products and brands were housed in striking, visually defined corners where customers experienced a sublime, digital shopping experience.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

More than 50 touchscreens spread over the ground, 1st and 2nd floors have been strategically and seamlessly integrated into each of the corners. These screens are controlled by Oscart's cloud platform and do not only display digital signage content such as product information and moving images. In addition \u2013 and this is a unique application in the signage and retail world \u2013 there is also an impressive interactive component. When a customer scans a product code (via a barcode) with his handheld terminal, all detailed information about the product in question automatically appears on the nearby screen. The customer can scroll through this information on the touchscreen with finger gestures. He can also order the product, view his shopping cart, etc. via the same touchscreen. If the touchscreen is not used for some time, the regular signage content will appear again.<\/p>

In other words, this is a particularly nice application of the advanced options that Oscart offers with its cloud platform for digital signage, and of the integration options with other existing platforms.<\/p>

In addition, Oscart also installed an impressive video wall of 3 x 3 49" screens in the Thermos King zone and several beautiful information screens in the entrances on the various floors (screen sizes of 43", 55" and 65").<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
